Group EMDR is an evidence-based method to prevent psychological trauma and instill resiliency and resourcing skills after exposure to traumatic incident, including secondary trauma. When implemented soon after the event, it can significantly reduce the risk of development of PTSD symptoms. It is an introspective method and therefore participants do not have to talk about their experiences out loud.
